We will be having a casual welcome gathering on the Friday evening, in the form of a Spitbraai. The staff at the estate will be catering, preparing and serving us. This comes at a R285 cost per head, to the guests. It includes mains (chicken/beef/veg) and sides (various salads, garlic bread etc). Limited beers and wine will also be provided, but please also BYOB. Please dress casually in all black attire.

The ceremony is at 15:30 for 16:00. The reception venue will stay open until 01:00 so we can party! Dress Code: Colour scheme - Cool Earth tones (no bright/neon colours or black). We kindly ask that ladies avoid colours traditionally reserved for the bride (white, ivory, cream). Gents - Suits with open collar shirts (no ties), formal shoes (please no sneakers). Ladies - Long dresses, heels/sandals.

The newlyweds would love to spend some chilled time with everyone on the Sunday after the wedding. They have planned an afternoon in the sun around the pool with some games and music. There will be a series of fun games where teams will compete against each other. More details on this to be provided on the day. Please wear some groovy animal print festival attire (bonus points for leopard print). In the evening, there will be another buffet-style dinner held at the reception venue. Again, the staff will be catering, preparing and serving us. There will be a variety of meats, veg, salads and sides. This comes at a cost of R295 per head, to each guest.

The venue can accommodate and sleep the majority of guests in 2-sleeper, 4-sleeper and 5-sleeper chalets. Due to the nature and capacity of the accommodation at the venue, we find it necessary to make some arrangements for the shared living spaces. To streamline the process and reduce the administrative load on the estate owner, we have decided to assign roommates for the duration of the event. Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests, ensuring that everyone feels at ease and has a memorable time. We appreciate your understanding in this matter, and we are committed to making thoughtful pairings to maximize comfort and happiness for all. An accommodation roster will be available once guests arrive at the venue. The cost for the accommodation is R500 per person, per night for Friday & Saturday with breakfast included on Saturday & Sunday morning. If you stay for both Friday and Saturday night, accommodation for Sunday night is free of charge! We would love for everyone to take advantage of this generous offer to make it a proper weekend away in the festive season. This then equates to R1000 per person for all 3 nights (R330 per person, per night), including 2 breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday morning.

As much as the couple would love to pay for everyone, this is just not financially possible. Therefore, we kindly ask that guests cover their own costs for accommodation and meals outside of the wedding festivities. For those who are willing and able to join us, we want to express our deepest gratitude. Your presence adds to the joy of this special occasion. A breakdown of the cost to each guest is as follows: The cost of 3 nights accommodation and 2 breakfasts (R1000), plus the Friday evening Spitbraai (R285) and Sunday evening dinner (R295), which is mandatory if you opt to stay on-site, equals to R1580 per person for the whole weekend. As the venue is remote, and the chalets aren't all fully-equipped for self-catering, we have opted for a fully-catered all-inclusive package, where all main meals (breakfast and dinner) are provided, to avoid hassle. Of course in your chalets, you can bring your own lunches/snacks to nibble on during the day as well as BYOB. The bride and groom are covering this cost up front - so if you are staying on-site, could you please reimburse us by transferring the required amount per guest (please refer to costs stated above) by 30 August 2024.
