Attire Guide: Outdoor Celebration

Our ceremony will take place outdoors, so we've put together some suggestions to help you dress comfortably for the occasion!Ladies: We recommend light and breathable fabrics such as linen, cotton, or silk. Elegant sundresses, midi dresses, or formal jumpsuits would be perfect. Think soft pastels, floral prints, or classic neutral colors to complement the outdoor atmosphere.Gentlemen: A light-colored suit or a dress shirt paired with dress slacks is a great choice. Linen or cotton suits are perfect for staying cool and looking sharp. If you prefer a slightly more relaxed look, a dress shirt with dress pants works well. Please avoid shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers. Lighter shades like beige, light blue, or soft gray will be best for the outdoor setting.

Parking & Transportation

There is parking available at the venue located at 5800 N Lapeer Road North Branch, MI.

PLEASE NOTE: NO VEHICLES CAN BE LEFT AT THE LEGACY BARN OVERNIGHT.

Shuttle Service 

We've arranged for a shuttle to take guests between the Best Western Lapeer Inn and The Legacy Barn. The shuttle is totally optional and would be recommended if you plan on needing a ride back to the hotel and do not want to drive your personal car.  Getting to the Ceremony: The shuttle will depart from the Best Western at 3:25 PM, aiming to arrive at The Legacy Barn around 3:40 PM. Returning from the Reception: For your return trip, the shuttle will offer two pick-up times from The Legacy Barn: The first departure is at 9:30 PM. The final departure is at 11:30 PM.

Ceremony Arrival

Please plan to arrive by 3:45pm. This will allow you plenty of time to find your seats before the ceremony begins.

Unplugged Ceremony

We're so excited to share this special moment with you! We kindly request that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. This will allow everyone to be fully present and enjoy the moment with us. Our wonderful photographers will be capturing everything, and we'll be delighted to share the professional photos with you afterward!

Dinner Service

We'll be serving a plated dinner at the reception. Please make sure to submit your meal choice when you RSVP.

Alcohol Policy

Please note that no outside alcohol is permitted at the venue or in the parking lot. We will be providing a full bar with a selection of beer, wine, and liquor for your enjoyment.

We can't wait to celebrate with you! For planning purposes, and to ensure we can accommodate all our invited guests, please note that invitations are extended only to those listed on your virtual RSVP through The Knot. Thank you for your understanding.

Your Guide to the Day

YOU MUST CALL (810) 272-6240 TO BOOK YOUR ROOM.Call and provide the name Kisser or Walkowiak to access our special room block.Our room block is available for stays on Thursday, August 7th and Friday, August 8th. Please ensure you specify your desired check-in and check-out dates when booking to confirm you receive the correct rate for your stay. You are not required to book both nights.
