The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. We suggest that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior. There is plenty to explore at the Arboretum if you get there early!

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The North Carolina Arboretum, located at 100 Frederick Law Olmstead Way in Asheville.

Yes, the North Carolina Arboretum provides parking on-site at the Baker Exhibit Center. Please mention the Krantz/Avy wedding at the entrance gate for free admission.

Please inform your pickup driver at the time of booking that they will need to access the property through the open exit gate if after 8PM. We recommend pickup in the parking lot of the Baker Exhibit Center.

All wedding day events will be outdoors, weather permitting! There is a backup indoor space if needed. The reception will take place on a grassy lawn, so please plan your attire accordingly.

We want you to relax and be fully present for our ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer who will capture every moment, and we'll make sure to send the gallery as soon as we receive it! With this in mind, we ask that you completely turn off and put away your phone during the ceremony. Thank you for your understanding!

We want you to feel amazing in whatever you wear! We do suggest cocktail attire for guests; men can wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women can wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Please keep in mind that there are grass and gravel sections of the venue.

Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are only able to accommodate those who are listed on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

The Arboretum’s Education Center, Baker Exhibit Center and main garden areas are all wheelchair-accessible. There are ramps, elevators and paved pathways in all areas where the wedding and reception will be held.

Yes! There will be a selection of wine and beer for cocktail hour and the reception. We kindly request that all guests adhere to the venue’s policies and bring absolutely no outside alcohol to the celebration. Also, make sure to bring your ID!

The ceremony will take place at 5:00 pm and will be immediately followed by a cocktail hour. The reception will include dinner and dancing and will conclude at 10:30 pm.

The farewell breakfast will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Asheville - Biltmore in the Burghley A meeting room from 9 am - 12 pm. Please dress casual and wish us farewell as we leave for our honeymoon!
