The year is 2019 and Jamie runs across a persistent hunk on tinder who is flabbergasted by her beauty, athletic ability, and disinterest in .. himself, I know, how could that be?

But fortunately, as they say in the shop, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. After multiple failed attempts, Jamie finally invited Matt to a playoff game at cowboys casino on April 19th. Calgary vs Colorado (lets go Nate Dog!!!).

Shortly after they met, Matt introduced her to the loves of his life, Henry and Daniel (and let me tell you, from the moment she laid eyes on my little fellas I knew I had her hook, line and sinker).

We started building a family and the rest was history. We did, and still do everything together. We brought our boys everywhere to experience everything with us. There’s nothing we would rather do.

On July 27th 2023, Henry, Daniel and myself were on our way to Jamie's friends pool party to pop the question! We were listening to our happy songs getting ready for the biggest moment our family has had yet. We gave each other kisses and fired each other up. When we arrived, I let the boys loose to distract mummy. As she picked up her little chubby man Daniel, she turned around to me, on one knee, asking her to marry us. She said yes, actually I think she swore first but then said yes!

This last year has been hard on us, we lived the end of our dogs lives with them to the fullest of our abilities. We wanted them to be apart of this day more than anything but it wasn’t in the cards, however I know when I watch my beautiful bride walk down the isle, they will be right next to her walking towards me as I look at her and remember every moment we ever spent together that brought us here.

We were built on their love, patience and bond. There has never been a love stronger than the ones our little brothers shared, and Henry left us once Daniel was gone because he couldn’t be alone after a whole life with his brother. Well I love my fiancé more than Henry loves Daniel, and more than Daniel loves Henry. They’re now in our DNA and every time we see each-other we see them.

We hope that everyone can come celebrate the love we have built and the platform that it was created on. We can’t wait to introduce our friends and family to each-other as it has been a long time coming.
