They say timing is everything — and in our case, the algorithm helped too. We met on Hinge in our late 20s early 30s — Taylor and Jamie, both a little skeptical and tired of dating apps, but hopeful enough to give it a shot. Our first date was at Buffalo Wild Wings (we know, very romantic), and what was supposed to be a casual dinner turned into hours of great conversation, laughter, and a feeling that something real had just begun.From that night on, we built a life full of shared adventures, quiet comforts, and a whole lot of laughter. Whether we’re cooking at home, road-tripping, or just doing nothing together, we’ve always felt like the best version of ourselves side by side. One thing we’ve always loved — and bonded over — is the beach. The sound of the waves, the salt in the air, and the peace of the ocean just feels like home to us. Life has a funny way of timing things perfectly, and with a baby joining us this year, we’ve decided to make our special day even more meaningful.The proposal was as unforgettable as it was uniquely us. While standing next to a roaring waterfall (and trying to hear each other over the noise), Taylor got down on one knee… and before he could finish, Jamie, in true Jamie fashion, blurted out, “You wanna marry me?” It wasn’t exactly the plan — but it was perfect.Now we’re heading to one of our favorite places — the beach — to say “I do” in beautiful Florida. It means the world to us that you’re making the trip to be part of our story, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most.

Our Story

Mandy is Jamie's sister, her built-in best friend, and the only person who can lovingly boss her around and make her laugh at the same time. Mandy knows all of Jamie's secrets (and uses them wisely), and she wouldn’t survive this wedding — or life — without her.

Kayla and Jamie started as bartenders in Ohio—slinging drinks, dodging tipsy customers like pros, and perfecting the art of the eye roll. Now she’s slinging up the Texas heat and living that big cowgirl life, but somehow she’s been roped into bridesmaid duties faster than a bull at a rodeo. Mostly, we think she’s here for the tan, the sun and the fun. Lucky for us, she will have all of that plus great friends!

Olivia and Jamie became fast friends — like, “how did we not know each other sooner?” fast. She’s not just a blast to be around, she’s also really pretty (which makes Jamie look good by association). With her smile and endless energy, she’s basically Jamie's partner-in-crime for this whole wedding adventure!

We are overjoyed to have my sweet niece, Aubree as our junior bridesmaid. As we celebrate our marriage with our toes in the sand, Aubree-with her sunshine bright smile- will be a cherished part of our special day. At 9 years old, she brings joy and energy, making her the perfect addition to our beachside celebration. We couldn't imagine getting married without her by my side.

Adam and Taylor have been stuck with each other since high school — from baseball practice to surviving school to now working side by side like they planned this chaos (they didn’t). At this point, he’s less “best man” and more like a lifelong unpaid intern. He’s seen every version of Taylor: the athlete, the slacker, the stressed-out coworker… and somehow still agreed to dress up and smile through wedding photos. That’s real friendship (or blackmail material — TBD).

Nick and Taylor also go way back — to high school. Nick, the best man (Adam),  and Taylor at one point used to work together, which means they basically made their boss go crazy (sorry Julie). Nick’s known for his wild stories—the kind that make you question if you need legal advice or just a strong drink. When he not making Taylor cry of laughter from telling his life stories, he’s helping him remodel literally anything he needs. He’s the guy you call when you need backup, a laugh, or a power tool. Usually all three.

Chris and Taylor became friends when he started working at Pet Supplies Plus. Although Chris's job was live animal training, Taylor was always convincing Chris to work with him on the setups. Their bond was truly forged through that time and their constant smack talk about sports- Chris is a die-hard fan of all Boston teams and Taylor is loyal to Ohio. Even though Chris is usually wrong, he is one of Taylors best friends, and Taylor is happy to have him by his side.

Max is Taylor's soon-to-be brother-in-law, which means he’s part of the family whether he likes it or not. Thankfully, he’s also someone Taylor genuinely enjoys hanging out with — especially when their cracking open a beer and teaming up to roast the bride and her sister (who also happens to be his wife). Whether it’s laughs, sarcasm, or just moral support, Max always delivers. Wouldn’t be the same without him — and not just because he’s legally attached to this whole thing.

Our sweet and thoughtful nephew, Hunter, is taking on a big role as our ring bearer. He’s gentle, kind, and takes his important job very seriously — though we know he’ll melt hearts just by being himself. With his quiet confidence and warm smile, he’s the perfect person to carry the rings (and a little extra cuteness) down the aisle.

Prepare for cuteness overload! we are thrilled to introduce our precious little flower girl, Margot. At just 2 years old, she is the sweetest member of our wedding party. While her trip down the sandy aisle might be an adventure, her adorable smile and presence will currently bring a special touch of magic to our beach ceremony. We can't wait to see her shine!

We're getting hitched where the sand is soft and the views are spectacular- Angler's Beachside Grill! That's right, we're swapping our vows with the beautiful Gulf of America as our witness and the dolphins as our official wedding crashers. So, get ready to kick off your shoes (metaphorically... or literally!) and celebrate our big day with good food, great company, and a whole lot of vitamin sea.

We recommend flying into Destin- Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) for the most convenient travel. It's the closest airport to Angler's Beachside Grill, so you'll be able to get from your plane seat to the beachside celebration in no time!

This hotel was recommended to us by the General Manager at Anglers Beachside Grill. Its an 8 minute walk from the venue. It has 4.0 stars, and a description of a lively modern hotel with 2 pools &amp; a 5 story waterfall, plus breezy dining, bars & beach access.

The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach

We stayed here when we went to visit the venue for the first time. Although across the inlet it’s only a 5 minute drive from the venue. We thought that knowing it was cheaper in price, it was worth what we paid for. However, you’re getting only what you paid for. At a 4.3 stars the description of themselves is “unfussy studios and suites with kitchens & free wi-fi, plus an outdoor pool & a gym.”

If you're interested in making our wedding also your family vacation, this condo is a 13 minute walk to the venue and is highly rated (4.6 stars). They describe themselves as "a popular condo resort with a large courtyard, lazy river and pools."
