Blaine and I met in June of 2023, but we'd unknowingly been looking for each other our whole lives. Both of us had tried marriage twice before, neither of us having much success in it. But we kept looking, each knowing the other was out there but not knowing where.

When Blaine contacted me on the Plenty of Fish dating app, the first thing I noticed was the picture with his adorable dog. For a girl who loves dogs, that's always a great photo to see on a guy's profile. The second thing that made an impression on me was that he not only used semicolons in his writing - he actually used them correctly. I knew then that he was someone deserving of my time and attention!

Our first date was at the Bazaar on Apricot and Lime. He had asked me to dinner but I had talked him into music bingo and a swim in the Gulf of Mexico. We talked for hours and it was amazing.

And the amazing has never stopped. We are each other's meant-to-be.

I've always loved unicorns - their magic, their mystique, their beauty. They are unique and rare and dream-worthy. My relationship with Blaine is the same way - one-of-a-kind, precious and forever. And on the 19th of April, we will have our unicorn moment.
