Jamie has been working at HyVee for several years. She started doing demonstrations of different foods and smoked BBQ ribs were one of the more popular samples. Jayce loves to cook and barbecue & smoking meats are his specialty. Well, this young man started to "taste" the ribs and the visits to Jamie's demo table became more and more frequent. They struck up a friendship that soon turned into a courtship.

On Valentine's Day 2023, Jayce proposed and Jamie said "yes"....and that's our story!
