Lionel and Jamie “officially” met doing something that they both love: cheering for and supporting the Villanova Wildcats.&nbsp; Louisville, Kentucky. Elite Eight. March 26, 2016. The mighty Wildcats have just beaten fellow blue blood and overall #1 seed Kansas to earn a trip to the Final Four in Houston, Texas. Jamie is walking through the lobby while Lionel is celebrating with an adult beverage ...&nbsp; Lionel: “Coach, we’re going to the Final Four! Let me buy you a drink!”Jamie: “Thanks! But no thanks on the drink. I don’t drink on work trips.”Lionel: “Come on. We’re. Going. To. The. Final. Four! Let me buy you one drink!”Jamie: “No thanks! I don’t allow my team to drink on road trips, so I try to set a good example.”&nbsp;Brodie: “Why are you shitting on my hospitality?!?!?” *with a classic Lionel Brodie smirk*Jamie: *with a signature Jamie giggle* "Okay, okay, you can get me a diet coke?"&nbsp; Needles to say … love at first sight!&nbsp; Jamie and Lionel decided to rendezvous the following week in Philadelphia for a pizza date at Lorenzo’s on “Topping Tuesday”. But in typical NCAA fashion, the Final Four schedule was “fluid” and Lionel needed to depart for Houston a day earlier than expected. When Jamie arrived in Texas, the future couple embarked on a lunch excursion to Panera Bread. Mid-meal, Lionel confesses: “you know I’m superstitious. If we win tonight, we need to come back every day of the trip, sit at the same table, and eat the same meal.”&nbsp; Obviously Villanova wins. Lionel and Jamie return to Panera, in addition to a BBQ restaurant under a highway (but actually) with the Cheerleading Team. Villanova wins again (thanks Kris Jenkins). And the rest is actual history.&nbsp; Jamie moved to Wayne, Pennsylvania with Lionel on July 30, 2018. Their life of Villanova Athletics, Original Propaganda Athletic Club, and People For People Charter School rudely interrupted by That Which Shall Not Be Named (the pandemic). As the world fully reopened in 2022, the couple moved into overdrive with planning their future.&nbsp; Saturday, June 4. 2022. A routine trip to Savvy Nails in King Of Prussia is rearranged by Jamie choosing a nail color other than black, grey, white, or red, for the first time in her adult life. Lionel asks if Jamie will revisit this color, which unbeknownst to her matches the box that the ring is housed in. Jamie’s response is one of uncertainty, but Lionel’s mindset is one of certainty: today is The Day. The couple already has reservations to a nice restaurant … Jamie is planning on wearing a dress … Lionel has shaved …today is THE DAY. A last minute trip to the mall to “look for some sneakers” gives Lionel the time needed to call Jamie’s mother, Rose, for her blessing, as well his mother, father, and sister. This is not something he wanted them to discover on Instagram. &nbsp;Once back in Wayne, Jamie, as per usual, beelines to her pajamas. This gives Lionel the chance to affix the ring to the collar of their dog, Roux, as she is a part of the master plan. Roux never wears a collar indoors, so this will force Jamie to notice it, question it, notice the ring, and BAM! It works. Roux is sitting in front of Jamie. Rajah, our cat, is now also sitting in front of Jamie. Lionel kneels and pops the question! &nbsp;And our history has just begun…..

Parking & Transportation

There is free parking at Lauxmont Farms, however, transportation will be available to take guests to and from the Courtyard York to Lauxmont Farms before and after the ceremony and reception.   Day of Details: A school bus shuttle will leave promptly at 4:45 PM from The Courtyard York to take guests to The Rotunda at Lauxmont Farms. This will be the only shuttle available from The Courtyard York to The Rotunda at Lauxmont Farms.   The return shuttles back to The Courtyard York from The Rotunda at Lauxmont Farms will be at 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Please no food or drink on the shuttle!
