Fares (Pierre/Fort Pierre)

A fare covers the cost of going from the point of origin (pick-up point) to the first destination (drop-off point). In the transit industry, that travel is referred to as a “trip.”

For all rides scheduled at least one day in advance of the trip, the ride is considered Pre Scheduled (office hours 8 am to 9 pm). All rides scheduled after 9 pm for the following day will be considered Same Day. See the pricing list below.

General Public Prescheduled Rides

$2.00 Flat Pickup Rate

Up to 10 miles + $.25 per mile**

Over 10 Miles + $.75 per mile**

$2.00 per additional passenger going to the same location (Age 4 years and up)

Children 3 and under ride free with an adult

Youth & Senior* Prescheduled Rides

$2.00 Flat Pickup Rate

Over 10 miles +$.25 per mile**

$2.00 per additional passenger going to the same location (Age 4 years and up)

Children 3 and under ride free with an adult

$2.00 per older adult (60+) suggested donation

All Rides Scheduled the Same Day

$6.00 Flat Pickup Rate

Up to 10 miles +$.50 per mile**

Over 10 miles +$1.50 per mile**

$6.00 per additional passenger going to the same location

$2.00 per additional child passenger going to the same location (Age 4 to 18)

Children 3 and under ride free with an adult

$6.00 Flat Pickup Rate under 10 miles between the hours of 11:00 pm to 5:00 am
