Jacquelyn and Jamie met the summer Jamie and Adam met, while working together at a City of Fairfax summer camp. Jacquelyn's first impression of Jamie was her dirty car where she saw a cookie melted behind Jamie's driver's seat. However, they immediately bonded (thankfully, so Jamie could get rid of the cookie) and she was the first one Jamie told about her new relationship. Little did they both know that more than half a decade later, Jamie would be marrying the guy!
Annabelle Willey - Bridesmaid
Initially suite mates for two years, turned roommates for their senior year at Wake Forest University, Annabelle served as Jamie’s conscience and made sure she stayed out of trouble. Without Annabelle's guidance throughout college (and even after college), Jamie definitely would not be where she is today. She'd probably still be doing cartwheels in public and trying to feed strangers Subway!
Kelly FitzGerald - Bridesmaid
Kelly and Jamie became random suite mates during Jamie's second semester sophomore year of college. When Jamie saw Kelly's name on the door, she became worried it was her old roommate but little did she know, this Kelly would be a complete 180, even going on a spontaneously road trip to Nashville, TN together after knowing each other for 3 days. She was the reason Jamie's spring of sophomore year and all of junior year were so fun, causing Jamie to change her mind about transferring out of Wake!
Sarah Comiskey - Bridesmaid
Sarah's initial impression of Jamie was when Jamie called herself "Jokeful Jamie" during Yearbook class introductions in 8th grade. Little did she know that Jamie would end up being her best friend in high school, even taking a picture together every single day during their senior year. 14 years later, even though they are living in completely different states, nothing has changed and Jamie is still that "jokeful" girl!
Casey Hughes - Bridesmaid
Casey's initial impression of Jamie was also when Jamie called herself "Jokeful Jamie" in middle school. Once Casey realized Jamie was actually kind of cool, they kept their friendship up and were even each other's prom dates their senior year! Casey would often visit Jamie during her freshman year of college, driving from Virginia Tech to Wake Forest University, which made the world of difference to Jamie during her rough transition. 14 years later, they still require playing Dutch Blitz when they get together even though Casey has won 95% of the time.
Alexander Cook - Best Man
Joshua Yang - Groomsman
Even though Jamie's initial reaction to Joshua being born was telling her mom to "try again" because she wanted a sister, she grew to love and cherish Joshua's presence during their childhood. He served as an extra distraction when they were getting into trouble together as well as her shadow when he wanted to tag along with hanging with their neighbors. No matter where Jamie went, Joshua was always a few steps behind her and Jamie will forever be thankful to have him as her built in best friend for life.
