Travel Documents

To travel to Brazil, you will need:

* An up-to-date passport (valid for at least 6 months after your trip)

* A valid tourist visa for Brazil

The Brazilian government offers an e-Visa option for eligible travelers, available through their official site: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/.

For U.S. citizens, additional information is available on the U.S. Embassy & Consulates in Brazil website: https://br.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/.

For non-U.S. and non-Canadian citizens, please check the official Brazilian government website or your nearest Brazilian consulate for the most up-to-date visa requirements.

Accomodations

Guests are welcome to arrange their own accommodations. We’ve reserved a block of rooms at The Grand Mercure SP Vila Olimpia and The Pullman — sister hotels located next to each other and just a 7-minute walk (or 2-minute drive) from our venue. The Grand Mercure offers a family-friendly stay with authentic Brazilian atmosphere, while The Pullman has a modern, business-oriented style.

Use this link to book your rooms. Be sure to use the Preferential code CONGR1 when booking! You can reserve your room now and you will not charged until Jan 29th (check the pictures below).

For a more budget-friendly option that’s even closer to the venue, consider The World Vila Olimpia Hotel.

Flights

São Paulo is served by two major airports: São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) and São Paulo/Campinas International Airport (VCP).

GRU is the larger and most convenient option, and we recommend flying in and out of this airport. The easiest way to get from GRU to your hotel is by Uber, which takes about 40–60 minutes depending on traffic and costs roughly R$80–R$130 (USD $16–$26). Official airport taxis (Guarucoop) and pre-booked hotel transfers are also safe and reliable alternatives.

Event Schedule

If time permits, we recommend arriving in São Paulo a few days before the wedding the week to give you the opportunity to explore the city and experience Brazilian culture.

Our Welcome / Rehearsal Dinner will be at 7:00 PM on Saturday, January 31st, at CipóRestô in The Grand Mercure SP Vila Olimpia. All out-of-town guests are warmly invited to join us.

The Wedding will be at Bisutti Zero Onze on February 1st. Our wedding will begin with a Welcome at 3:00 PM, followed by the Ceremony at 3:30 PM. Please plan to arrive during the Welcome so that everyone is seated and ready when the Ceremony begins. Celebrations will continue until midnight. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Riviera de São Lourenço

Following the wedding, Jamille and Andrew will be spending the week at Riviera de São Lourenço, and you are welcome to join us.

Riviera de São Lourenço is a planned beach community on the northern coast of São Paulo state in Bertioga. It is known for its clean, wide shoreline, calm waters, and safe, and walkable streets with bike paths. The area offers a variety of restaurants, cafés, and shops, and is surrounded by stretches of Atlantic Forest. It’s about a 2–3 hour drive from São Paulo and is a popular weekend and holiday destination for Paulistas.

We recommend booking through Airbnb, as there are many hotels and private homes available for rent. It is possible to reach Riviera by public bus (similar to Greyhound) from São Paulo, but renting a car (or carpooling) will make getting around much easier.
