I hope that I speak for the both of us when I say what has happened to us could only be by His sovereign design. Falling in love again after tragedies, loss, hurt sorrow... No way! It did not seem possible.
Both of us had encountered such issues in our lives and certainly the day we met in the hallway of the convention center, a little over 3 years ago, a relationship was probably the farthest thing from our minds.
God orchestrated our lives in such a way that it was inevitable and only we had to come to the understanding of our own "hearts desire." Falling in love with this beautiful angel was effortless...learning to love each other through the growth and the challenges life has and will offer us is truly why we know we will place our trust in Christ always.
...one of the first correspondence shared between us...
Eccl 4:9-12
"Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up. Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart..."
I love you forever my companion.
You are my cord of gold.
