Hot, dry and sunny. Evening temps are usually in the mid-70s with daytime temps around the mid-90s. I think it’s always freezing inside the casinos, so you may want to bring a hoodie or shawl if you plan to spend a lot of time indoors.

At this time, the only children invited are those that are in the wedding party. We understand that it can be difficult to make arrangements for someone to watch the kids for a few days, so if you need to bring them along, just let us know and we’ll make it work. Please note that a lot of the activities are 21+.

A car rental should not be necessary. The airport is not too far from the Strip. When you land you’ll see lines for the cabs split up based off of what hotel you are going to. The Flamingo is located right in the middle of the Strip, so everything is pretty easy to walk to. There is also a monorail that goes up and down the strip, with a hub very near to the Flamingo. You can pay by ride, purchase a day pass or a multi-day pass. If you are interested in checking out the Fremont Experience downtown, there are plenty of cabs outside the casinos that can bring you there. Uber and Lyft are also an option.

Yes and no. Things definitely aren’t cheap, but if you’re smart about it you can have a great time without breaking the bank! We opted for a weekday wedding because most things seem to be cheaper there during the week. The first thing we like to do when we get there is run to Walgreens and the liquor store to pick up snacks and drinks. You are allowed to carry your own drinks most places, except for maybe into the restaurants, shows etc. You can also get free drinks when gambling. Sitting at a table will get you faster service than sitting at the slots. Be sure to sign up for the casinos reward cards to earn some free play!

Definitely not! You are certainly welcome to attend them all, but feel free to pick and choose what works best for you.
