We met in March 2021. On our first date we went to Bucksnort in Red Oak. With planting season just around the corner the next several dates were field meals and tractor rides! Janae had to become an expert at finding fields down dirt roads. Jon met some of Janaes family at a Fourth of July celebration, and Janae met the boys (Jons nephews) and several members of the Andersons at the Page County Fair in July 2021; where Jons cousin Dan famously introduced himself with Im Dan Brockman, you can do better before vanishing with no more explanation. After many family gatherings, a few trips, and lots of farm dates over the next few years, Jon finally decided to pop the question on the farm on July 31, 2024! Janae knew that she in fact could not do better, and said Yes!
