Jaden and Janah met on November 13th 2021. Janah was working as a server in a little cafe that night and was serving Jaden’s parents for dinner. Jaden’s mom asked how old Janah was when she came over to their table and she informed them that she was 20. Jaden’s mom got excited and told Janah that “she has a 20 year old son who is in the national guard and owns a mustang”. She then called Jaden and had him come into the cafe and get Janah’s phone number. Janah and Jaden started talking that night and began hanging out a few weeks later.

A couple months later we began dating officially on January 13th, 2022 when Jaden made a poster that said “I know winter only comes once year but I want this winter (you) to stick around longer, will you be my girlfriend?” to which Janah of course said yes.

A couple months later on March 28, 2022 Jaden gave Janah a promise ring with the intent for us to one day get married.


Just under a year later on February 9th, 2023 we got engaged. Jaden proposed in Cabo, Mexico on a sunset pirate ship. We had the pleasure of seeing a pair of whales that night, an incredible sunset, and a fun little pirate show by the crew. The crew then pulled Janah into their show blindfolding her and saying she was now the traitor and would be forced to walk the plank. They asked if Janah had any last words to which she said “I’m gonna catch a bigger fish than you”. They then told Janah that someone very important had something to ask her before she went overboard and turned her back around and took the blindfold off to reveal Jaden on one knee. Janah obviously said yes and now here we are!
