Don't forget your passport! Please double check to make sure your passport does not expire before October 2026 as you will not be permitted to travel within 6 months remaining of the expiration date. Passports can take up to 3 months to arrive so please be sure to update or apply for a passport ASAP!

Jamaica requires every passenger to electronically fill out their Immigration Form (C5).

PLEASE NOTE: you will not be allowed through customs without this form. We suggest you fill it out prior to your departure date as service in the Jamaica airport is limited so accessing this form will take twice as long.

The Sandals Ochi resort requires a minimum 3 night stay for each guest.

You cannot stay less than 3 nights at the resort, however, if you choose to extend your stay and/or arrive earlier than the start of our wedding weekend dates, you are more than welcome to do so!

PLEASE NOTE: You are able to put down a $400 deposit to reserve your room and pay the remaining amount 60 days prior to arrival or pay small increments over time before 60 days prior to arrival.

Please note that these times are only referring to your room. You are able to check in prior to 3:00pm, you just will not be able to officially get into your room until then.

If you are taking an early flight and checking in prior to 3:00pm, the hotel will secure your bag until the room is ready. You will be allowed to utilize all of the amenities at the resort.

We highly recommend packing swimsuits, sunscreen and a change of clothes in a carry on bag so that once you arrive at the resort you can check in and head straight to the pools, bars and beaches!

If you have a later flight, you are more than welcome to opt into a later check out time for an additional cost. Please visit the concierge to adjust your check out time.

By staying at the Sandals Ochi, ALL tips, taxes and gratuities are included in your stay. Sandals South Coast has a strict no tip policy when staying at the resort!

PLEASE NOTE: The people who carry your bags from the Sandals lounge to the bus once you land as well as your drivers to the resort do accept tips if you choose as they work through a third party.

NO NEED for currency exchange, they actually prefer to receive the US dollar if you choose to tip.

Upon arrival into Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica, you will proceed to go through customs and pick up your luggage from the baggage carousel.

From there you will proceed to the Sandals Check In Desk which is located to the right once you exit the baggage claim. You will check in with the concierge and be told to enter the lounge. Everything in the lounge for Sandals is free. You can grab water bottles, a variety of snacks and pour yourself a nice draft of Red Stripe while you wait to be called for your car.

Once in the car, please remember that Sandals Ochi is a 90-120 minute drive through the outskirts of the island. The car driver describes it as a "road massage" meaning some areas are very rural and bumpy due to pot holes in the road. Do not be alarmed these drivers are professional and very good at what they do.

There are NO BATHROOMS on board the bus, so please be sure to use the restroom prior to getting on the bus. There is an option to stop, but please do not be the THAT person, as everyone wants to get to the resort in a timely manner. Once arrived to the resort they will escort you inside where you will check in with the concierge.

Club MOBAY is a VIP experience in Sangster International Airport. It allows you to bypass the regular security and customs line, as well as gives you lounge access in the airport where all food and beverages are free.

You NEED to register prior to the day of your flight, as once they hit a capacity on number of tickets purchased, they will shut down access and you will not be able to register for this experience.

We personally recommend paying for a departure pass, which is $35 per person, as it has saved us up to 4 hours in time as security and customs can be very backed up.
