Every love story is beautiful, but ours is our favorite.

It all started in the most unexpected way — a chance encounter at a mutual friend’s backyard BBQ. John was flipping burgers, Jane was making everyone laugh, and somehow, in the middle of all the fun, they struck up a conversation that neither of them wanted to end.

What began as casual chatter turned into late-night talks, weekend road trips, and endless inside jokes. Over time, we became each other’s best friend, biggest cheerleader, and favorite person to spend a lazy Sunday with.

John proposed on a quiet evening walk along the lake near Jane’s childhood home — just the two of them, under a sky full of stars. It was heartfelt, simple, and completely perfect. Jane said yes (with happy tears and a big smile), and now we're counting down the days until we say “I do.”
