Parking at The Society Room:
Parking in downtown Hartford can be a little tricky so we wanted to provide you with some helpful parking information for when you come to the wedding venue. Pratt Street is permanently closed to vehicle traffic. You may park in the public lot (ProPark) located right next to the venue which has an entrance located at 84 Asylum Street.
Once you park, make your way to the wood doors in the front of the building on Pratt
Street. The handicap accessible entrance is on the side of the building nearest the parking lot. Please come to the double glass doors where the gray ramp is located.

There is an automated entrance for the ProPark parking lot, closest to the venue, located on Asylum Street. No overnight parking is permitted. Metered Street parking is available on nights and weekends at no charge. If you are staying at a hotel in the area, you may take advantage of their parking and walk over
to the facility. These directions below will take you to the entrance of the parking lot located on Asylum Street.The handicap accessible entrance to our venue is located on the side of our building with a gray ramp.
Route 84 Eastbound:
Take exit 48 for Asylum Avenue. Take a right onto Asylum Avenue. At 2nd light, take a left onto Pearl Street. At 2nd light, take a left onto Trumbull Street. Follow down and take 3rd right onto Church Street. Turn right onto Main Street, followed by a right onto Asylum Street. Entrance to the ProPark lot is located on the right.
Route 84 Westbound:
Take exit 48 for Asylum Avenue. Take a left onto Asylum Avenue. At 3rd light, take a left onto Pearl Street. At 2nd light, take a left onto Trumbull Street. Follow down and take 3rd right onto Church Street. Turn right onto Main Street, followed by a right onto Asylum Street. Entrance to the ProPark lot is located on the right.
I-91 South:
Take exit 32B for Trumbull Street. Ramp becomes Trumbull Street. Turn left onto US-44/Main Street. Continue to follow Main Street. Turn right onto Asylum Street. Entrance to the ProPark lot is located on the right.
1-91 North:
Take exit 29A on the left toward Capitol Area. Follow till end. At roundabout take 1st exit onto Wells Street. Wells becomes Trumbull Street. Turn right onto Church Street. Turn right onto Main Street, followed by a right onto Asylum Street. Entrance to the ProPark lot is located on the right.
Note: Keep the ticket you receive from the machine in a safe and memorable spot. You will need this ticket later. Once you are inside the venue, the Greeter will have a voucher with a #2 on it. This voucher is a complimentary ticket to exit the lot. Exiting the lot, you will enter ticket #1 in the machine first followed by ticket #2.
