Jane and Tyler's story began as camp counselors one summer in 2016. They were both at the University of Oregon but hadn't crossed paths until Camp Kesem placed them in the same group as camp counselors. From the moment they met, there was a special connection.

Their days as camp counselors were filled with laughter and working together as a team to support the campers. When they returned back to Eugene, their connection grew outside of camp. Games and wine nights became a regular occurrence, and their circle of friends quickly became intertwined.

Tyler graduated the following spring and traveled around the world before settling in Portland, Oregon. Meanwhile, Jane finished school, then spent a year abroad teaching English in Spain before moving to Portland.

In Portland, their paths crossed again. They continued to cheer on the Ducks at games, explored Portland on weekends, and Tyler showed Jane Mt. Hood. With each passing day, it became clearer that their paths were meant to cross.

One memorable early date took them to Silver Falls State Park. They went on a hike that was advertised as ten waterfalls. Little did they know, it turned into a full day journey from spending time in the car, to rating each waterfall based on its initial appearance, height, and flow. It was during this journey that they realized just how much they shared in common.

A few months later, Tyler asked Jane to be his girlfriend while skiing in Colorado. Since then, they have spent countless hours together as they traveled to new places around the world, tried new hobbies together, and supported one another professionally and personally.

Today, Jane and Tyler continue cherishing every moment together as best friends and soulmates.
