Airlines

For those planning to fly, the major New York City airports (JFK and Laguardia) offer a full range of flight options and are both approximately 75-90 minute drive to New Canaan. Alternatively, Westchester County Airport (HPN) is a smaller, regional airport offering a limited selection of flights, and is a 30 minute drive from New Canaan.

Trains

New Canaan is readily accessible by train. Direct service from Manhattan via the Metro-North New Haven line (east of the Hudson) is available during peak hours, and is about an hour-long ride. During off-peak hours, a connection between Manhattan and New Canaan is available in Stamford.

For regional train travel, the nearest Amtrak station is Stamford. From there, New Canaan can be accessed by Metro-North.

Hotels

We have reserved blocks of rooms for Friday and Saturday nights at Hotel Zero Degrees (also now called The Watershed) and Hilton Garden Inn, located nearly adjacent one another in Norwalk. For discounted rates, please use the links included here or reference the O'Connor-Skeehan wedding by phone.

Guests at each hotel will be provided transportation to and from the reception. Buses will depart each hotel at approximately 4:45pm. The bus departing from the Watershed will also stop at the Hilton Garden Inn to pick up additional Hilton guests on the way to the reception.

Transportation will also be provided from the reception to the after party. At the conclusion of the after party, return transportation to the hotels will be available.
