What's the best way to travel around in HK?
Depending on where you are and where you are going, so it's hard to tell. But the easiest is by tram, train (MTR) or taxi.
Do you have gift registry?
No, we don't.
We've decided NOT to have gift registry as we would like our family and friends to have freedom of choices to give.
So there will be "Laisee/Hongbao"/Red envelopes available at the reception.
Laisee/ Hong Bao / Red Envelope

A red envelope, red packet, laisee, hongbao or ang pau is a gift of money given during holidays or for special occasions such as weddings, graduations, and birthdays.
Red envelopes containing cash, known as laisee in Cantonese and hongbao in Mandarin, are gifts presented at social and family gatherings such as weddings or holidays such as Chinese New Year; they are also gifted to guests as a gesture of hospitality. The red colour of the envelope symbolises good luck and wards off evil spirits.
At wedding banquets, the amount offered is usually intended to cover the cost of the attendees as well as signify goodwill to the newlyweds. The amounts given are often recorded in ceremonial ledgers for the new couple to keep.
Which colour do you recommend for ladies to dress?
Ladies, I've heard in some customs, guests should not wear white/ivory/cream as in NOT to outshine the bride. Please wear any colours that suits you and make you comfortable, especially if you're buying a new dress. Buy something that you'd wear it again. Ivory & Cream are 1920's colours which is our theme dress code. I'd love all the ladies are going to be as beautiful as they should be and gentlemen as handsome as my husband is going to be =)
