The Market is open from 9am-2pm on Saturdays. Wyatt and Janell love to browse the market vendors, along with the surrounding shops and restaurants in the Market District of York City!
There is a parking garage (West Philadelphia Street Garage) directly across the street from Central Market, which is free on Saturdays.
(Wyatt proposed to Janell in the alley, Cherry Lane, right outside of Central Market!)
Wyatt and Janell love taking a trip to Brown's Orchard. Janell loves their greenhouse in the summertime, and Wyatt loves their peanut butter brownies in the bakery. The Café is a great lunch option (we both love the grilled cheese)!
Wyatt and Janell enjoy walking through the National Aquarium in Baltimore, about 45 minutes south of York. They especially love the "Jellies Invasion" jellyfish exhibit!
The aquarium is located in the Inner Harbor, which has many other neat attractions, shopping, and restaurants.
We find it easiest and cheapest to park in the Little Italy parking garage, and walking over to the Inner Harbor.
Visit Perrydell Dairy Farm to see the dairy cows and adorable calves. Their dairy products are made and packaged on property. Wyatt loves their milkshakes and chocolate milk. Janell loves the unique seasonal flavors of ice cream!
Janell and Wyatt enjoy day trips to the outlets in Lancaster! There are a lot of other attractions in this area, including Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park, the Cartoon Network Hotel, and Lancaster Amish Country.
"Timeline Arcade in York, Pa has over 300+ games and counting and is the largest retro arcade in South Central Pennsylvania and beyond."
This arcade is located in York, City in the Market District. Janell especially loves playing Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero here!
"Round1 offers state-of-the-art entertainment the whole family can enjoy – Bowling, karaoke, arcade games, billiards, darts, ping pong, food, and much more!"
Round1 is connected to Lancaster's Park City Center Mall, which Janell and Wyatt both love to shop at!
"Specializing in York and Pennsylvania advertising and collectibles, soda bottles, vintage toys, vintage clothing, books, and the list goes on..."
This is Janell's favorite vintage/antique store, which is located in an old barn. There are always really unique finds, but Janell especially enjoys the "Rabbit Hole" booth.
