Snoqualmie, with its mountains scraping the sky, became the unlikely matchmaker for our love story. Here, amidst the crisp mountain air, our lives intertwined in the most unexpected way.

Remember that perfect loft bed for Kayson? The one Janelle found on a local "Buy, Sell, Trade" group? Enter Kevin, the kind soul with a knack for fixing things. He not only offered it at a steal, but also helped with delivery and even tackled helping her to build it from memory. Little did we know, this simple act would plant the seed for something much deeper.

Fast forward a year and a half later. Snoqualmie, with its vibrant energy and unique charm, had even bigger plans for us. We found ourselves sharing stories about the joys and heartbreaks of single parenthood, a conversation sparked by our shared desire to help our children navigate new realities. What began as a connection forged in the fires of similar journeys turned into a deep friendship.

Our friendship had us unexpectedly falling for the person who understood our stories, the one who made us laugh until our sides hurt. Our bond wasn't just about shared experiences. Snoqualmie, nestled amongst the mountains, also ignited a spark of professional inspiration. It was here, fueled by countless cups of coffee overlooking breathtaking views, that they faced the challenges that kept coming, it was through that adversity that they realized it was to clear a path so they could embark on another adventure together, this time with building BidPak, Kevin's creation. Building this business together became another adventure, fueled by our combined passion and fueled (of course) by laughter that often had us up way past our bedtime (mostly Janelle's fault!).

It became clear that blending our families wasn't just possible, it felt beautifully inevitable. Now, the view of Mount Si, a constant companion in our journey, becomes the backdrop for our wedding day. This same view inspired the master bedroom of the addition we built on our home – a testament to our commitment to growing together not just as a couple, but as a family. Every long day and late night spent building that addition was a reminder of the love and support we have for each other and our children.
