Most of you have been around for much of our story but here is the short version.

Eli and I met in 2014 at RDC through mutual friends. We started dating Oct 2015 thanks to groomsman Michael Salmon, who we consider our match maker as he brought Eli to a party I was at and the rest is history.

We moved in together at the beginning of 2018 and lived together in multiple homes (thanks to all of you who helped us move a million times). Until Eli got accepted into NAV Canada as an Air Traffic Controller in 2022. He moved to Edmonton for basic training and lived with groomsman Siggi and officiant/MC Ashley who took him in as their second child.

At the end of 2022 Eli got placed at the Springbank Tower in Calgary. I made the move to Calgary in the summer of 2024 along with the rest of the Van Sanward crew who were already in Calgary by that time.

On July 17, 2024 Eli proposed at Long Beach Tofino, complete with a random hippie from the beach blessing our marriage and future so it truly was an authentic island engagement.

And that brings us to now, we cannot wait to celebrate our love with all of you, and to celebrate 10 amazing years together.

As Eli says, it was all part of the plan.
