Our Wedding

Our story began in 2008, when we were just nine years old in the third grade. Even then, Janessa and Christian wanted to be each other’s very first boyfriend and girlfriend. Christian would give Janessa little pieces of jewelry, sweet gifts that, in a way, foreshadowed the ring he would one day give her. We don’t remember exactly how that first “relationship” ended, but we’re sure it had something to do with just being nine. We grew up alongside each other, following our own paths but always remaining friendly. Then in 2024, at just the right time and with a little help from a mutual best friend our paths came back together. What began as a reconnection, quickly turned into something much more, and we fell deeply in love. A year later, Christian gave Janessa another piece of jewelry, a ring… We cannot wait to celebrate our special day and the next chapter of our lives together! Love to you all!Janessa &amp; Christian

We kindly ask our guests to join us in FORMAL attire as we celebrate our special day. Think elegant, polished, and timeless.For women, sophisticated cocktail dresses or other elegant dressy attire are perfect choices.For men, slacks with a dress shirt or a suit are appropriate; ties are welcome but not required. Dark, neutral, or classic colors are encouraged, along with dress shoes.For children, dressy attire is encouraged, such as nice dresses, skirts, button-down shirts, or slacks, paired with comfortable dress shoes.We look forward to seeing everyone dressed beautifully as we celebrate together.Kindly avoid jeans, tennis shoes, t-shirts, baseball caps, bold patterns, or overly bright colors.Family-We’re so excited to celebrate with all of you! While everyone is together, we’ll also be taking the opportunity to capture some extended family photos. If you’re part of the family, please plan to dress accordingly so we can get some beautiful pictures together. Thank you for helping us make these memories extra special!
