Two young souls fell deeply in love in 2014.
Janette was living in Las Vegas, NV and Aaron was living in Santa Maria, CA They met through mutual friends and instantly hit it off.
They were inseparable even though physically they were hundreds of miles apart. From all nighter phone calls, to Facetimes and lots of quick weekend road trips, it still wasn't enough.
6 long months later, Aaron took a leap of faith and decided to move to Las Vegas to be closer to Janette!
Year after year their love grew stronger and stronger each and every day. Soon after, they moved into their own apartment together. Then in 2018, they bought their first home together where they also raised 3 spoiled fur-babies.
On Saturday, October 14th, 2023, Aaron had a special date planned for them. After a beautiful church service, they grabbed dinner to go and headed north, away from the city lights. With the New Moon overhead, the sky was perfectly dark, creating the ideal setting for stargazing.
In their Jeep, they went away from the main road and got off to take a view of God's extraordinary night sky.
Now if you know the couple, you know it is not rare for them to declare their love to each other constantly. They gazed up at the sky and Aaron started to do just that. Janette being washed over with such gratefulness and love, she also reciprocated, but Aaron continued and finally said...
"I want to spend the rest of my life, doing things like this with you.."
He reached in his pocket where he pulled a little black box and continued with,
"Will you marry me?"
Janette in complete and utter shock, heart racing and tears flowing with joy, she said, "YES! Of course, I will marry you!"
Aaron's heartfelt proposal beneath the stars was his way of asking Janette for her hand in marriage, directly under God's gaze, surrounded by their angels, with the heavens themselves as their only canopy.
Fast forward to today, as they deepen their relationship with God and are blessed to plan their wedding together, where, as the precious Word of God says, they will no longer be two, but one flesh.
They are beyond excited to continue their relationship in the sanctity of marriage.
