Independence High School

It started sophomore year at Independence High School. Janice would walk with a friend to their fifth period class but when her friend sprained her ankle, she asked Roland to walk with Janice instead. Fun fact, Roland walked Janice to class without saying a single word. For those who know Roland, saying nothing is odd behavior for him. He was very shy! The next day, Janice received a call from Roland and they talked for hours about everything, the laughter was constant and the connection was easy. A simple four hour conversation at turned into 21+ love filled years, three beautiful children along with three cats and two dogs.
