Our story began on January 5, 2009 in Prineville, OR. We met through a mutual friend and instantly felt sparks. Roughly 2 weeks after we met I invited him on a 2 week long road trip that covered 5 states. It was during that time and all those miles that we truly got to know one another. It was actually in Las Vegas on our way back to Oregon that I knew that I loved this guy, I mean really really loved him. And little did I know at the time that he felt the same. He said "I love you" first though! And nearly a decade later we're still mad about each other.

One Saturday, August 27, 2017 Robert asked me to marry him on top of Pilot Butte in Bend, OR. It was a perfectly clear day so we could see the beautiful Cascade Mountain Range. Naturally, I thought we were just going up to take photos of the mountains! So when he dropped to one knee I was shocked and incredibly overwhelmed with happiness. He even arranged for a photographer to capture the moment, it was perfect. But is didn't end there after he proposed he asked me to pack a bag because he booked a suite and made dinner reservations. When we got to our suite and opened the door the lights flicked on and our family and friends were there to surprise us with an engagement party. It truly was a perfect day.

Both Robert and I are looking forward to starting this next chapter in our life together as husband and wife. And we're over the moon to be sharing our special day (and 10 year anniversary!) with all of our favorite people. We look forward to seeing y'all!
