<p>In fall 2023, Ruby worked as a preschool assistant teacher in Garland ISD, where she met her best friend, Rachel. Rachel often spoke of her God-loving, funny brother, Jared, and Ruby excitedly agreed to meet him. After weeks of texting and phone calls, they had their first date at Huckabees Coffee in Rockwall, where they lost track of time for four hours. They spent the entire weekend together, and Jared invited Ruby to church, which deepened her admiration for him. As weeks went by, they began dating, and Jared showed Ruby what true love is—he is selfless, naturally funny, service-oriented, and always encourages her to grow closer to God. Fast forward nine months to August, during a family vacation. While taking what was supposed to be a routine family photo, Ruby noticed some unusual phone activity. To her surprise, Jared proposed! Surrounded by family and friends, it was the perfect moment. They can’t wait to build a God-honoring marriage with each other.</p>

If there’s one person who truly embodies grace, kindness, and strength, it’s you. You are the queen of all traits—always radiating warmth, love, and wisdom. I feel incredibly blessed to have you as my sister-in-law, and I’m so thankful for the amazing bond we share. You are the sister I never knew I needed until you came along plus you deal with the craziness that comes with marrying my brother!

First up, we have my best man, Matthew. not only is he my brother-in-law, but he's married to my only sister, which makes him pretty much family by default. Over the years, Matthew has become someone I look up to-  a brother I never knew I needed and a partner in crime when it comes to tackling life's challenges( or family gatherings).  If I'm the one getting married today Matthew is the one who taught me how to do it right- by being married to my sister and still living to tell the tale.

Next, we have Noah, my fiance Ruby's brother. You know, they say when you marry someone, you marry their family, and let me tell you, I hit the jackpot with this guy. Noah has always been there with his unwavering support and brotherly wisdom- or at least with a good joke to lighten the mood. Whether it's cracking jokes or being the chillest guy in the room, Noah is like the brother I didn't know I needed but now can't imagine life without.

Then there's Patrick- my friend, occasional mentor, and most importantly, the guy who keeps me grounded. Patrick has been there to guide me with his wisdom (and maybe a few sarcastic remarks along the way). I'm grateful for the advice, the laughs, and the occasional reality checks he's given me over the years. He's like a life coach, but much cheaper and with better stories.

Next up is Landon, who's married to Ruby's twin sister, Mai. Landon's the kind of guy who's all about loving his wife and making sure everyone's having a good time. His laid-back vibe and positive energy are exactly what you want at a celebration like this, and I'm glad to have him standing with me today.
