Arrival at PVR Airport

Once you arrive at the airport you will need to go through the immigration checkpoint where your passport will be checked. Once through immigration, you will pick up your bags and go through the customs area. After being cleared through customs you will go through a lobby where there will be a bunch of people wanting to offer you tours, rides, and hotel stays. DO NOT STOP AND TALK TO ANYONE HERE, they are all trying to sell things and take advantage of travelers. Keep walking until you get outside the airport where all transportation will be.

We recommend using either Yoni Transpo or a Taxi

Yoni Transpo Private Shuttle

This is our recommendation on who to book transportation to and from the airport with. It is slightly cheaper than the resorts preferred vendor 'Amstar', and has been highly recommended. The price will be more than a taxi or uber but is much easier as everything is arranged prior to arrival.

To book transportation please add 'Yoni Transpo' on Facebook. You can then Facebook message him about vehicle sizes/prices for the trip. He only needs your flight information and will schedule the transportation for you. The representative will be holding a sign with the following logo on it, OUTSIDE of the airport. Payment is due upon arrival to the resort, PayPal, cash and card are all accepted. There is a 6% additional fee for PayPal and card transactions.

Amstar Shuttle Service

The resort uses the company Amstar, and a representative will be waiting for you outside of the airport upon arrival and at the hotel lobby for departure. Shuttle services only run for flights from 7am- 4pm.

Amstar is a little more pricey than compared to Yoni Transpo but is also a great option. Please reach out to Amstar via their online website to book transportation through them.

Taxi Service

Taxis are available outside the airport doors. Look for taxi kiosks as you exit. Taxi's will typically run around $50 one way to the resort.

Ubers

Uber is also available but is a little more difficult to navigate. Ubers are not allowed to enter the airport so you need to walk to the left out of the doors to the end of the airport and walk across the bridge over the highway and meet your uber there. Uber will typically be around $35 or $40. Ubers are also not allowed to pick up riders in Nayarit where the resort is located so they will not be able to pick you up from the resort.
