To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children under 18 attend the celebration. We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to celebrate in style! (our nieces and nephews will be attending the ceremony only)

Due to the nature of the venue, we ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a casual suit for men. Keep in mind this venue is outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather. A photo booth available for fun pictures, so dress for the occasion!

Castle Unicorn is nestled up in the rolling hills near Glenwood, IA. Parking will be at the bottom of the hill and a shuttle will arrive to take you to the top where the ceremony and reception will be held. Please plan to arrive early to use the shuttle and take any items that you may use during the night with you (it will be hard to get back down to your car quickly).

Please have your cellphones put away during the wedding ceremony. The amazing Ashley Otte will be our professional photographer and cell phones can ruin the shots. Feel free to take pictures before and after the ceremony! There will also be a photo booth during the reception! Tag us on Facebook or send us the pictures, we'd love to see them!

We will have complimentary cocktails, beer, wine, and soda for everyone! Prepare to get your drinks and get on the dance floor!

Safety is always a priority! We want to celebrate with all of you but also get everyone home safely. You are welcome to leave your cars overnight at the venue and Uber or carpool so that no one gets hurt. Sleep it off and pick up your car the next day!
