Back in 2016, Alex slid into Jaritza’s DMs on Instagram—but after one convo, she ghosted him. Fast forward a bit, they crossed paths again through old friends. Alex even asked his friend if his girlfriend could help set them up. Jari wasn’t really interested at first, but her friend convinced her to give him a shot. So, he tried again—this time through a Twitter DM—and that’s when he won her over. He knew just what to say, and they had so much in common.

They hadn’t met in person yet, so they planned for Alex to come watch Jari’s soccer practice. He stayed the whole time, and the first thing Jari noticed was his smile. She hung around after to talk more, and when it was time to say goodbye… he leaned in for a kiss and slapped her butt! She turned around like “what?!” and he just said, “that’s mine.”

Now, 8 years and one beautiful daughter later, they’re finally getting the wedding they deserve❤️
