We met May 2nd 2018 at Decent People, a local tap house during trivia night after a mutual friend got a team together. Kyle and I connected during trivia and were one of the top 3 teams.

After that night, we talked on messenger, he cooked dinner for me, and we spent nights together relaxing; him playing video games and while I was working on assignments for my degree.

A few weeks later, Kyle got a promotion with Target and that meant moving from Virginia to Minnesota. We decided to stay in touch and be friends. So in July 2018, Kyle moved up to Minneapolis to begin his new career. I was wrapping up my final year to get my Bachelor's. We lost touch for a little while, but later reconnected.

In August of 2019, Kyle and I reconnected and

it didn't take long to realize that we still had feelings for each other.

Kyle would visit later that Fall. We went for a walk at First Landing State Park and sushi after. It felt like no time had passed between us.

We took a trip to Northern Virginia with Kyle's friends. It was in the mountains when Kyle and I became officially a couple...took long enough.

I visited Kyle in Minneapolis in February 2020. We went to Florida to escape the winter and visited Universal Studios and Star Wars at Disney World. A few weeks later, the pandemic changed everything and challenged our long distance relationship.

I visited Kyle in July 2020. It was during that visit, we decided I would move in with Kyle later that year. In September, I packed up my car and made the drive to Minnesota with everything packed in my car and Pig in the front seat.
