Taking into consideration various factors, including money, timing, weather and others, we decided on 4-24-24 due to it NOT being during Spring Break OR The Masters week in Augusta, the weather won't be oppressive, and, well, quite honestly, those arriving and departing closer to the special date, most likely won't encounter too many super inflated airfare or even lodging prices. Some people are taking advantage of it, and planning other activities in Florida around our event, but airfare should be cheaper for everyone, depending on your plans.

No worries... we planned this far enough in advance to give people time to plan for it, but we also know that we can't expect everyone to attend. We will work out the particulars at some point closer to the event, but we WILL find a way to Live Stream the ceremony so you can watch it remotely. And, it will be on the big screen, and maybe more TV's) at the Wagon Wheel on our special evening.

Honestly, we are not concerned about receiving gifts.... We consider you sharing our special day with us a present unto itself. But, since it is a destination wedding, and you do feel the urge to give us a wedding gift, please contact either of us, and make arrangements concerning that. It would obviously be a major hassle for you to bring something, and then us have to bring, pack, or ship something back home. Can always use the Wagon Wheel as a "drop off point" if you are in the Falls, or like I said, contact either of us to make arrangements. And, we thank you for any gifts, and your attending or watching. Also... NO LIVE OTTERS, PLEASE. ;-)

Our wedding & reception are at the Plaza Beach Resort, 4506 Gulf Blvd, St. Pete Beach, FL. They also have 2 other properties in close proximity.... Both are Bay-side, not Gulf-side (I have seen some Manatee's swimming by their bayside properties though). Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort, 4321 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach and Bay Palms Waterfront Resort, 4237 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach Staying at any of these 3 resorts helps us get credit towards our reserving the Plaza Beach Resort for our wedding. No pressure to stay at any of them, but please at least check them out and consider them. Thank you.

The couple’s wedding website should indicate your booking deadline, but if you want the most options with the best rates, it’s best to book early. Since the bride and groom need to know who is attending in order to plan seating and meals, we recommend you make your room deposit as soon as you get the invitation, but at the minimum, book at least 6 months ahead so they can plan their wedding accordingly. ***** If you are considering booking at any of the 3 Resorts in the Plaza Beach Family, please do so as SOON as POSSIBLE. We have been asked to give numbers of rooms to be booked, so they can make arrangements to be properly staffed for us. (Also, we were told that we will be their last wedding they host, so we want this to be as seamless as possible for everyone). Thank you.
