Please arrive between 3:45 PM and 4:15 PM to allow plenty of time to park, sign our guest book, and find a seat! We plan to start promptly at 4:30. No late entry will be permitted to the ceremony.

This is an invite-only event. Due to limited resources, we are only able to accommodate those included in your formal invite. We are so excited to have an intimate event and celebrate with those closest to us. Thank you for understanding!

To allow everyone to relax and enjoy themselves, this is an adult-only event. The only exceptions will be for the Bride and Groom's immediate family. We appreciate your understanding!

Dress to impress! Semi Formal required and Formal preferred. Think summer garden party! We will have lots of fun summer colors in flowers and decor. We kindly ask you to avoid white or cream colors in dresses, and please refrain from wearing jeans or shorts.

Please RSVP no later than Sunday, May 30, 2025. This will allow us enough time to give our caterer the final headcount and get all the details into place. If you do not RSVP by the deadline, we will assume you are unable to make it, and you will be missed! You can RSVP right here on the website! If you are unable to attend please let us know at your earliest convenience so we can plan accordingly.

Weather permitting, our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. There will be opportunities to go inside and explore the mansion during the cocktail hour, but the majority of the time will be spent outside.

Rollins Mansion is a historic building and therefore is limited in regards to handicap accessibility throughout the venue. Please contact us at jasminejacobwedding25@gmail.com if there are any accommodations we need to pass on to the venue coordinators. Stairs are the most direct route in moving from the ceremony to the reception, but they can be avoided.

Yes! Rollins has roughly 40 parking spots available; This should be plenty of parking for our guest size assuming families and couples ride together. We will rent additional parking next door if necessary!

Rollins Mansion is located at 2801 Fleur Drive Des Moines. It is located on your left on Fleur Drive when you are heading South towards the airport. From Interstate 235 take exit 7A M.L. King Jr. Parkway and head South past Water Works Park and past Gray’s Lake. Rollins Mansion is located after the intersection of Bell Ave. and Fleur Drive; it will be the second turn-off on your left side. The facility is next to the Italian American Cultural Center of Iowa (formerly known as the Butler’s Mansion).

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning once the ceremony begins, we ask all phones to get put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and our photographer to be able to capture the best moments.

We can not wait to party with you on our wedding day! Appetizers and dinner will be on us! As for drinks, we have budgeted for each guest to enjoy the first drink or two on us, but after that, drinks are on you. A cash bar will be available throughout the reception until 10:30 PM.
