We were just beginning our journeys as personal trainers a guy from a small town in Saskatchewan who moved to Lethbridge to follow his dreams.

We never would have met if we hadn’t both taken that leap of faith at the same time. But somehow, we did. And in doing so, I found my best friend.

It was January 2018 when we first crossed paths, and we quickly became inseparable. By April, we were more than just friends. We shared our first Christmas together, then New Year’s, and every holiday after that (even though Braden's not exactly a fan of the holidays).

We navigated through the uncertainty of the pandemic side by side, growing even closer. We got a dog together, changed careers, and in August 2023, this amazing guy—who I can’t believe I get to spend my life with—proposed to me in front of the Toronto skyline.

And now, just weeks away from marrying my best friend, and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together
