In April 2022, Jasmine and her mom embarked on a memorable trip to India. Their journey led them to Ludhiana, and to the hotel where Nikhil worked. It was a special time as Jasmine got to see Nikhil daily during her stay at the hotel. Nikhil would make sure to work in the same section where Jasmine and her mom would be seated at, specifically, Table 25. They'd steal moments to chat while he worked at the restaurant, and whenever she visited the bar, he'd find reasons to join her, sparking a connection between them.

Fate intervened when her return flight was canceled, giving her the perfect excuse to convince her mom to return to Ludhiana. Once back, Nikhil and Jasmine spent more time together, going to movies, sharing meals, and talking late into the night, discovering more about each other's lives and families. It became evident that there was something truly special between them. When it was time for Jasmine to leave again, they promised each other to stay in touch.

Back in Kansas, Nikhil and Jasmine talked every day, growing closer despite the distance. Her friends noticed a change in her, as she was always messaging someone and even talking on video calls, something she usually avoided. They could see that Nikhil was different, and they were right.

Jasmine returned to India in August 2022, and they spent every moment together. They explored Ludhiana, Chandigarh, and Delhi, deepening their bond. By the time she returned to the USA in September, she was already planning her next trip to see Nikhil.

In January 2023, Jasmine returned to celebrate Nikhil's birthday, and it was during this trip that they both knew they wanted to spend their lives together. Their relationship continued to flourish, and on July 15, 2023, Nikhil proposed at a restaurant in Ludhiana, with his friend Prakhar's help. They explored more of India, including a visit to the Taj Mahal, and Jasmine even had the pleasure of meeting Nikhil's parents.

Their journey together so far has been filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. They can't wait to celebrate with everyone and start their journey together.
