Jasmine and Matt’s story began in a bar. (Very on brand for us!) Jasmine was dragged by some friends to a bar in Frisco even though she didnt want to go this particular night. While she was there, her friends went off and mingled and she stayed near the bar and waited for them to come back. While she was waiting for them, she noticed someone at the bar, Matt. She didnt immediately go up to him because well, a man should pursue her!


After 2 hours of sitting there, talking to other people, she decides to make a move and go up to the bar and order a drink next to him in hopes he would talk to her. After she orders her drink, they have a conversation and turns out Matt was dragged by his friends that night to the bar as well. The conversation ends with “Do you want to go to dinner sometime?” and Jasmines response was “Well Ive only been sitting here for over 2 hours to get you to talk to me!.” Jasmine and Matt spent the rest of the night talking and hanging out. When it was time to go home, Matt saw Ubers were $300+ back to Dallas so Jasmine offered for him to stay at her place. After they leave the bar, they get a flat tire in Jasmine’s car. Jasmine pulls over and starts pulling out everything to fix a flat tire and in Matts mind hes thinking “Heck yeah this girl knows how to change tire!” Nope. She just knows where everything is. She puts Matt to work and has him change her tire and they’re off. They grab Whataburger on the way home and when they arrive home, Jasmine realized she forgot to tell Matt, she still lives with her parents. Matt refused to go inside, but after checking the Uber rates again, staying at a strangers parents house didnt seem like such a bad idea!


The next day, Dad wasn’t pleased when he saw Jasmine brought a guy home... and he was still there. After everyone peeked into Jasmines room to see who the guy was, Matt ended up coming downstairs and meeting Jasmines family, 12 hours into knowing each other. Matt ended up loving the family and stayed the whole weekend. Right when Dad was starting to question if Matt was homeless, Matt went home to get ready for his work week.


Jasmine and Matt spent the next few weekends hanging out, going on dates and having fun together. A couple months later, Jasmine decided to move herself into Matts place while he was at work. Since then, Matt and Jasmine have moved into their own house together, have two dogs and continue to have the same love and banter as the first night they met.
