Once upon a time there was a young maiden named Jasmine Green who decided to go to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for school. She only knew her sister Jade and Jasmine French. One day in August of 2013 her sister texted her to see if she wanted to go to a birthday game night for her friend Joy. She went a long with her sister because she did not know any one else. They got to the house and no one believed that she and Jade were really related. Charris walked into the house and spotted her in the corner. She did not pay any attention to him.

A couple weeks later, the SIUe Gospel Choir executive board had their E-Board weekend. Jasmine French asked if Jasmine Green wanted to go out with them. She had nothing to do so she went. She found out much later that Charris kept telling Jasmine French to pick Jasmine Green up. After that weekend Charris and Jasmine hung out almost every day.

On September 26, 2013, Charris and Jasmine went to breakfast with John and Cinnamon for her birthday. She went to class and then came home to get ready to go out. Charris and some of their friends came over to have drinks before going out. Charris gave her a card and some wine for her birthday. She read the card and at the end of it Charris asked her to be his girlfriend. They have been together ever since.

On May 8, 2016, Jasmine woke up thinking it was going to be a normal Sunday. It was Mother's Day. It was also youth and young adults Sunday. It was a busy Sunday but it was a normal Sunday. She had her family there with her because the day before was her graduation. She did not know what was really going to happened on this day. Charris asked Jasmine to marry him. She said yes!!!!!!!!!!

We are excited to start our journey to become man and wife. We are also excited to have each and every one of you on this journey.
