We did consider inviting families but this event is an adult only affair. This specific venue is historic and it is right on the lake shore property. In many respects it can be dangerous and overall isn't very child friendly in the evening. You will see our direct nieces and nephews on the day but they are leaving come nightfall.

February 1st is our deadline, Duluth is a popular travel destination and its difficult to find accommodations on the weekend in the summer. Also, our venue has a strict guest count and would like to have as many of our friends there that can make it. We understand it can be hard to make decisions early and appreciate your consideration and timeliness on this.

Glensheen has free parking on site! Cars need to be removed next morning by 9AM though so please make arrangements. There are also driving services like uber and lyft.

Absolutely! Outdoors is $5 to roam before 5pm and the grounds are large. Otherwise if you arrive at 5pm (AKA 30 min prior to the ceremony) you can roam for free as our guest. We recommend going early, and taking photos or enjoying the shoreline. You will be getting a tour inside later in the evening for being our wedding guest.

Sorry guys! There will be a complimentary happy hour with selected drinks but no open bar option for this group. Bring some cash and make sure your phone is charged for the end of the night ride back!

We are sorry to say, unless your partner is indicated on your invitation or pulls up with your RSVP you cannot bring a plus one. We were limited on number of guests.

Garden party to formal attire is encouraged but it will be hot in July so whatever makes you feel cool and comfortable also is great.

This is an outdoor event! Dinner and dance is indoors but in a winter garden which is not truly an indoor space. It will be warm so be warned! We will move outdoor aspects indoors if it is raining.

Absolutely, we are ready to party! Look out for Jordan's dance moves and we will have 2 DJ's on site!
