Our wedding venue is in Eden Prairie, Minnesota which is about 25 minutes from downtown Minneapolis & about 20 minutes from the airport. On our travel page I have listen hotels that are close to the venue (within 10 minutes) and hotels that are located in downtown minneapolis (25 minutes from the venue) and Saint Louis Park (20 minutes from the venue). Hotels in Minneapolis will definitely have the most things to do (e.g. restaurants, bars, tours, site seeing) within walking distance if you are looking to make a weekend out of your visit to Minnesota. In eden prairie there are many restaurants, shopping malls, lakes to walk around & grocery shops within short driving distance. Ubers are easy to obtain both in the city and within the surrounding suburbs.
