The One Where They Met in College

Our story starts during the summer of 2019. After seeing Jasmine around the Framingham State campus several times, I knew I had to do something to get her attention. After being persistent in trying to talk to her, she finally gave me a chance and we set up the first date! The first date did not start off well as I was late by an hour. Jasmine still agreed to go on the date and as I picked her up, I knew as soon as she stepped out of the house that she was going to change my world. The rest of the semester we spent many nights with friends, me watching her soccer games, or mini golfing. The second night I realized Jasmine was the one, was when she surprised me by asking if we could watch Star Wars, which she fell in love with by the way.

The One Where They Loved From A Distance

2020. That's right, covid. As covid became problematic, everyone was forced to move back to their hometowns. For Jasmine and I, this meant living on opposite sides of the state. We were able to make it work with countless facetimes, during which I fell asleep on her many times. As the country began to open up again, Jasmine and I began traveling back and forth. Due to covid, I was forced to hang the cleats up for my career in baseball. I was thankful Jasmine was there for me, as a large part of my life was taken away. However, I was fortunate enough to watch Jasmine finish her soccer career after she took an extra semester at school in 2021. She opened my eyes to a sport I never thought I would enjoy. With sports and classes back in full swing for Jasmine, the distance between the two of us was cut in half when she moved back to Framingham. Making it easier for us to go on our many, many minigolf matches (to which I won most of).

The One Where They Moved In Together

As college came to an end, Jasmine and I decided to take the next step in our relationship and move into a small rental in Dracut, during which time I started a new career. Shortly after the move, we realized our home was missing something. As many of you know, the greatest living thing to ever enter our lives, the Mighty Scout stole our hearts. Many hiking trips and stops at breweries with friends began to fill our schedule. As our lives began to grow with new jobs for both of us, I realized Jasmine was the one. So, I began planning the biggest surprise, our engagement. Jasmine thought she was going on a girl's trip to the Ice Castles, however, I would be there to surprise her and ask her to be my wife. That wasn't the only surprise, I asked Gary to be at our house for when we got home, knowing how special he is to her and wanting him to celebrate with us. More family and friends surprised Jasmine at our house with decorations and love that brought tears of joy to her face. Over the next year we started to plan our wedding and build our relationship even more. As we grew we knew it was time to take the next step in our relationship. We decided, searched, and finally, bought and moved into our own house!

Now we wait for the best day of our lives. We love every part of the path and story that has brought us to this moment, the next chapter in our love story. We are so excited to spend this amazing day with the ones we love, our friends and family. September 28, 2024 cannot come any sooner! Scout is excited to celebrate with each and every one of you!
