There once was a little girl named Jasmine who grew up in a small town called Chesley. She was a fun loving, energetic soul who had a couple of boyfriends here and there, however she found herself falling out of likeness to them pretty quick. Jasmine and her family then moved to what felt like a big city, named Cambridge - to go to high school. This is where she experienced a lot of life's ups and downs. She met new friends, got her licence, and experienced many more of life's firsts. As she was navigating her high school experiences, partying and doing god knows what else (praise God for saving that poor soul) . There was a gentleman that went to another high school in Cambridge where they would find themselves hanging out in mutual friendship groups. The controversial question is - who had a crush on who first… Zach's swears Jasmine like him however Jasmine and her close friends know the truth. She was not the type to become smitten with the sporty popular guy who thought he was all that. Or so she thought…

As time went on, the two found themselves going to the same College where they again crossed paths. Man the glow ups were real. One summer break, the two both went back to Cambridge to find that they crossed paths once again - at a favourite local club called Brixton. Rest in Peace Brixton for those of you who know. Here, another controversial interaction had taken place. Here nor say, but the two ended up exchanging phone numbers. They began spending more and more time together in group hangouts or 1:1. Some say love finds you when you least expect it, and this couldn't be any more true for these two. They were glued at the hip, besties some may say. They learned about each other, met each other's families, and created memories. They started officially dating Sept 22, 2018 when Zach finally asked Jasmine to be his girlfriend. There were many obstacles that this couple had to overcome, but they strongly believe that God was at the centre of their relationship fighting to keep them connected.

One significant night changed the course of their relationship when Jasmine was driving from Cambridge to visit Zach at College as she is older and finished school a year before him. This was a time when they weren't doing so hot and a big conversation needed to be had that was going to potentially end their relationship. Jasmine was on the phone with Zach when she gave him an update that she was close by, exiting the highways on Veterans Memorial Parkway. Zach explains this next part as a traumatic experience that he still remembers to this day. He heard Jasmine yelling “Oh my God, Oh my God” followed by loud banging sounds before the phone disconnected. He tried to call back but there was no answer. His fight or flight kicked in and he immediately jumped in his car to where she was and called 911. He arrived at where Jasmine said she was to see a scene filled with emergency vehicles and her car flipped upside down in the ditch. He rushed to Jasmine to make sure she was okay and by a miracle, Jasmine came out of the accident with one single scratch. God used this to shake up their worlds and show them what really mattered. After this event the two grew closer together than ever as they couldn't imagine a life without one another.

Fast forward to March 11, 2024 - Zach proposed to Jasmine in front of a breathtaking sunset on a cruise, in front of their family. This marked the beginning of their future together and they now excitedly await their wedding day, where they are excited to spend a day celebrating their love and their story with their beloved friends and family.

This story isn't the perfect cookie cutter love story, but it's the wonderful love story of Jasmine and Zach, and they wouldn't change it for the world.
