The Old Idaho Penitentiary was a functional prison from 1872 to 1973 in Boise, Idaho. After purchasing a ticket, you will be able to walk the grounds and read the stories of inmates and learn the history of these grounds.

The city's oldest park, Julia Davis Park, was created thanks to a generous donation of 43 acres of land in 1907 by Thomas Davis as a memorial to his beloved wife, Julia. See what makes this park special with its unique features which includes Julia Davis Rotary Plaza, Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Survivor Plaza, Childhood Cancer Pavilion, Abraham Lincoln Statue, Bandshell, Rose Garden and the Window to the River Memorial.
