Should I Bring My ID?

To ensure a smooth experience at our bar, please remember to bring your ID! Our bartender has informed us that anyone who appears under the age of 40 will be asked to show identification. Thank you!

What Should I Wear to the Wedding?

We kindly request that all guests wear all black for the occasion. The dress code is formal—suits, dress shirts, gowns, or long dresses are perfect. A tuxedo is not required; a suit or dress shirt with pants will be just fine, as long as it's black!

Where will the ceremony and reception occur?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same beautiful venue. The ceremony will be held outdoors at 'The Forest,' where you won’t have to worry about your heels sinking into the ground—there are cement and cobblestone pathways to keep things comfortable. Afterward, the reception will move indoors to the timber event hall, which features a lovely deck overlooking the river, offering a refreshing breeze and beautiful views.

What Time Should I Arrive?

As the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm, we kindly ask that you arrive 30-45 minutes early and aim to be seated 15-20 minutes prior. Parking is available at the end of the road, beyond the gated entrance, and a golf cart will be provided to transport you to the ceremony site. Please note that seating will not be available once the ceremony has begun. If you happen to arrive after the ceremony starts, we kindly request that you wait inside the venue hall until the cocktail hours begins. Restrooms are located just inside the front hall doors, so please feel free to use them upon arrival or before being seated.

What time does the reception start?

Cocktail hour will begin at 5:00 pm, immediately following the ceremony. During this time, the bride, groom, and wedding party will be taking photos around the property. Dinner will be served buffet-style at 6:15 pm. The celebration will kick off at 7:00 pm with the first dances, followed by a lively mix of music—from Elvis to Flo Rida! The reception will begin to wind down around 10:30 pm, when the bride and groom will share a private last dance while everyone enjoys the final moments in the event hall. Finally, we’ll have our grand send-off! We hope you have a blast celebrating with us!

What type of weather should I expect?

The average high temperature in Delano, Tennessee, in October is 74°F, with an average low of 50°F—perfectly mild, not too hot or too cold! The weather is typically humid but pleasantly cool.

can i bring a plus one?

Absolutely! Just let us know when you RSVP, and we'll make sure it’s noted next to your name. We understand that traveling alone can be challenging, and we want you to feel completely comfortable. Plus, you'll need a dance partner, right?

What if I have Food allergies?

Please let us know if you or your plus one have any food allergies. We are more than happy to arrange proper accommodations for such allergies. Just make sure we know at the time the RSVPs are due.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

During the ceremony, we kindly ask that all guests put away their phones, cameras, tablets, and any other devices that require pressing play. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment. Don’t worry—if you’d like to relive the day, we’ll have plenty of professional photos and a wedding video to share with you. Let the experts handle the capturing! Once the ceremony concludes and cocktail hour begins, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

We will not be reserving blocks of rooms at hotels for guests, but there are plenty of great lodging options nearby, including rental cabins, Airbnbs, and hotels. We’ll be adding links to these options under the 'Travel' tab on this website. I've done some research, and there are some wonderful Airbnb choices in the area!

Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! Physical gifts are completely optional, but if you do wish to browse our registry, any items can be conveniently shipped directly to our home address.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We will provide an online RSVP link, but we’d love to receive your physical RSVP card as well! Either option works for us, as long as it clearly indicates who will be attending and who won’t.

Am I invited to the rehearsal?

The rehearsal dinner will be an intimate gathering, including the bride and groom, their parents and grandparents, as well as the bridesmaids and groomsmen—essentially, those directly involved in the ceremony. If you are invited to the rehearsal dinner, you will know. We have just one hour to practice at the venue and cover final details, so we aim to keep things efficient and smooth. Thank you for your understanding.
