Pan down, Salesian High School, a warm summer day begins with the new freshmen arriving at 8am sharp. Little did we know that two lives were about to change forever. Those two lives were not Jasmine and Bailey's, not yet, that comes later. They did meet that day though, at the Freshman retreat and became fast friends, especially during their shared 5th period religion class. During their tenure at Salesian they spent time together in the Mystery Players and Honors English both of which they enjoyed thoroughly.

The years went by and they became closer friends, all while finding themselves as individuals. As senior year drew to a close Jasmine couldn’t hold back her feelings anymore. She talked to her friends at a News Years Eve party and made a plan to confess her feelings to Bailey before winter break was over. They agreed to go on a walk, and as they approached the end of the dock they both looked out into the water. Jasmine summoned the courage and finally told Bailey that she liked him more than a friend. Much to Jasmine's surprise Bailey had been thinking the same thing but was too chicken to go out and tell her. In that instant, the clouds parted and the sun beamed down from the sky. They strolled back hand in hand wondering what Anthony would think of his two best friends.

That's merely the start of this tale. Soon these two love birds were off to college trying to make this new found relationship work. Bailey took to the mountains and Jasmine stayed near home for college. That didn’t last long as Bailey was back home soon and they shared a year together learning and planning their future. In addition to being classmates again, Jasmine got Bailey his first job at the local costume and dance supply shop where they worked Saturdays together. Jasmine was soon accepted to Cal Poly SLO (go mustangs) as Bailey finally decided what he wanted to do with his life. They talked on the phone everyday, had skype dates on the weekends, and visited each other as much as possible. She graduated with honors and started life's inescapable job hunt, while he was accepted to SFSU to bring up the rear. This was quite the turning point for these two as they lived together for the first time, further uniting these inseparable souls. Jasmine began her professional career at Hornblower Cruises and Events and 10 months later got Bailey his second job. They worked together 2 days before she found a better opportunity. As he finished his degree and she moved jobs they began to look to their future together. Getting married? Buying a house? Dog? Kids?

It was on their 7th anniversary that they went ring shopping and Jasmine picked out her dream ring, Bailey only wished he had that good of taste. That fall amidst a pandemic, civil unrest, and terrifying natural disasters he popped the question in their backyard, overlooking the lake, professing his love, and she said yes.

Jasmine got Bailey his third job at Golden State Orthopedics & Spine (3 for 3 baby!) where they work together again. You never know where life will take you, so plans changed and priorities shifted. These two went on the house hunt, searched and searched until they found just the right one and became homeowners. With a lot of elbow grease and a little time they’ve made a house a home. Shortly into that journey it was time for a new addition to this little family unit and Appa the puppy came into the picture. And just like that those two became three. Just a few months later they had another addition to the household when Grandma Pat came to stay, and those three became four. These days they spend their time walking Appa (and Grandma), working on the house (and Jeep), and thanking God for their many blessings.
