Our Wedding

Keely and Jason met in August 2018 at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, during a Mountain Lion Catholic dinner. Over the next couple of years, they grew closer and eventually became best friends. In May 2020 they went on their first date, a socially distanced hike. They spent the summer going on more dates as they adjusted to dating during a pandemic. They weren't even able to go on their first movie theater date for several months, something that became one of their favorite things to do! In the spring semester of 2021, they celebrated the opening of the Newman Center, where they would spend most of their remaining time as students studying, taking virtual classes (even some together), and hanging out with their friends! They both completed their bachelor's degrees in December 2021 and later moved up to Denver for Keely to pursue her graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Jason works as a software developer from home, and lives in an apartment just down the street from Keely's! They got engaged on October 29th, 2022 at Gold Camp Road in Colorado Springs after a wonderful day of traveling to the most significant places in their relationship. After the wedding, they will be headed off to Charleston, SC for their honeymoon!
