Our Story

You may be wondering why Jason proposed on a baseball field... (he is not a professional baseball player 😂 He is in med-school)Jason proposed on this baseball field because it held a sweet memory. I love to dance, and on one of our first dates we went country dancing. Afterwards we went to a park close by to my house and I wanted to walk on the baseball field. We ended up dancing together in the middle of the baseball field under the stars, and it remains to be one of my favorite memories :)

Jason and I love to dance together to country music! At our reception we will play a majority of country songs, and we would love it if you would join in dancing! If you would like to learn a bit of country dancing feel free to grab your partner and watch a few of the videos listed below. (By no means is this a requirement to show off whatever moves you've got :)

Two step is a partner country dance similar to swing dancing. You can learn different moves to combine with the foundational two step.

Line dancing is another form of country dance! Jason and I don't do this as much because we like to dance together, but it's still lots of fun! We have linked a good line dance below.

How to get to Tallahassee

Tallahassee can be a difficult area to get to because it is not a huge city like Orlando and Jacksonville. If you are able to drive we recommend taking a day or two to drive down. This will enable you to have a car once here, and likely save money. We do have an airport in town (Tallahassee International Airport), however it can be fairly expensive to fly into. Another option would be to fly to Jacksonville or Orlando and rent a car from there. There are also greyhound busses that come from Orlando to the middle of Tallahassee.
