Fairytales do come true!

Kim met her Prince and Jason found his Princess on November 6, 2018. Kim & Jason met on a dating website during the Woolsey Fire, two days before Jason had to evacuate his home. Jason packed up Louie, his Bassett Hound, and Kitty, his cat, in his truck and drove to La Crescenta to stay with family until he was cleared to return.

While there, he and Kim decided to connect by phone. There was definitely something special when they talked for the first time. They joked around, laughed a lot and were completely at ease with each other. Jason wasn’t sure when the evacuation would be lifted so was hesitant to set a first date.

Kim told Jason that he shouldn’t wait too long or “she might be married by the time they got around to meeting in person.” Thankfully, Jason thought that was funny and they set their first date for November 13, 2018.

Jason and Kim combined their families when Jason bought Kim a toaster oven for his house as a way of asking Kim & her daughter, Kylie (and their dogs Snowflake an Lili’uokalani), to move in with Louie, Kitty, and him. (Walter Moose, our 89-pound Bassett Hound, was added to the family in 2020.)

As most people know, Kim & Jason discovered that they both have a love of Disney (among other things) and have spent the past 6 years creating a lifetime of memories together.

So far Kim & Jason have been to 3 of the 6 Disney Parks around the world (Disneyland, Walt Disney World & Paris Disneyland), explored Sweden (the Northern Lights), Morocco (visiting family) and many, many more adventures to come!

Marry someone who says things like:

I’m proud of you.

I’m so lucky to have you.

You’re all I’ve ever wanted.

Let’s go to Disney!

Registry

We are planning on having a European Honeymoon later in 2025. We are still working out the details (when & where) so more to come!! We are so grateful for your presence at our wedding and are excited to share one of our favorite places, Walt Disney World, with many of our favorite people!
