Jason & Mira

June 23, 2024

Thank you for being here! We hope that we can answer your questions about our big day.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

You do not need to worry about mailing anything. You can RSVP right on this website, located on the RSVP tab.

What date do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP right on this website (under the RSVP tab) by June 1st, 2024 at the latest.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Our wedding ceremony will be starting at 3:00 pm. Please arrive early enough to park, enjoy conversing with other guests, and find your seat in time for the ceremony.

What will your wedding day timeline look like?

Our wedding ceremony will take place at 3 pm. A cocktail and hors d'oeuvres hour will take place from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. Dinner will start at 5 pm. The rest of the reception will last until 9 pm.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Yes! There is plenty of parking at the venue, and there will be parking attendants to help direct you.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors. The reception dinner will be held indoors. After dinner, guests are welcome to explore the venue including the bar inside, and plenty of engaging things outdoors, such as visiting the pond to feed the fish, playing different yard games, as well as enjoying the scenery and landscaping. Later in the evening, there will also be a smores bar at the outside firepit!

I'm coming from far away. What accommodations are nearby?

What is the dress code for your wedding?

We kindly request that guests dress according to a semi-formal, or dressy casual, dress code. Dress comfortable, but please no jeans. The weather will most likely be warm and breezy. Our venue has many beautiful outdoor spaces to explore during the reception, so we recommend that you avoid wearing any tall heels so that you can walk around the venue comfortably.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

At this time, space for guests at our venue is limited. If you are invited to bring a plus one, it will be noted specifically on your invitation and RSVP profile on this website. Thank you for your consideration!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

As much as we love your children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. If your children are invited, it will be specifically noted on your invitation and RSVP profile on this website. We hope that you understand this decision and we very much hope that you can celebrate this special day with us!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We are so happy that you want to remember our special day with us! We will be having a strictly unplugged ceremony, meaning only our professional photographer will be taking photos during the ceremony. We kindly ask that all guests refrain from taking pictures and turn off any devices during this time. Once the ceremony is over, we encourage guests to take as many photos as they would like during the reception as they enjoy themselves!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet-style dinner with a selection of chicken, sirloin, and vegan spaghetti for entree choices. For sides, there will be garlic mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, and caesar salad. There will be a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available. We hope that the buffet style will allow everyone to choose a meal they’ll enjoy. There will be a space for you to list specific dietary requirements on your RSVP profile, but if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out and we will confer with our caterer to ensure you have an enjoyable dinner experience.

Will there be alcoholic drinks available?

There will be several options available for our guests who choose to drink. The bride and groom have each chosen a signature cocktail, and there will be several beer and wine options as well.

Do I need to bring a gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can bring it with you to the wedding or have it delivered to our home at 3026 Byron Center Ave. SW, Apt. 7, Wyoming, MI 49519. A wedding card box and a space for gifts will be at our reception. If you would like to bring a gift for the bride and groom, you can look at our wedding registry here on this website under the 'Registry' tab, or click the link to Amazon to browse more comfortably.
